Great Day everyone: I create this entry
with my last blog entry in mind and how Clara Hughes, the only Olympian in history to have been awarded both Summer and Winter
Olympic medals, stated in her uplifting speech at the Green Living Show in Toronto, the importance to be kind when competing:
as in wishing your competition well to in effect encourage your own best performance. This having been said, I want to
share with you an excellent contest: The Greatest Salesperson In The
World Contest, sponsored by www.OgilvyOne.com. It would have been great to have shared this info with you earlier
yet there are still have a few days left to enter: All you have to do is to produce a You Tube video wherein you "sell
a red Brick". It's a lot of fun and you can pull it off when you put your mind to it. Now why am
I encouraging competition when I have entered the competition to win that "gold medal". Well the business servant in me sees this as a tremendous opportunity for others to participate
in as well. I gave it my personal best and as Clara Hughes expressed in her speech the feeling is most wonderful regardless
if I win the medal or not. Oh I definitely feel the "warrior"
spirit in me and all modesty aside you'll have to be good to compete with me yet in the true business servant spirit we need to encourage this in everyone - for everyone to
challenge our own personal best - and this is the perfect vehicle to do this. Besides on the positive side, when the
recruiters see our performances, maybe, just maybe, there will be many sales jobs available for us. Now that would pump
this economy and again in the Business Servant spirit this is the highest priority. The ripple effect
of what we shine out does indeed come back to us many fold. In presenting this contest on my many websites this website
is the only one in which I link my own presentation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21BwVQEwrnM. For me there was the question if I should utilise my Internet power to promote my You Tube presentation to
drive my rankings yet I thought that to encourage the best performance for the Contest it would be best not to bias the voting:
after all as much as I may want to win for myself, because I believe in this contest and the meaning of it: to indeed find
and celebrate the Greatest Salesperson in the world. I thought it most important to get people
to visit and make their own decision. Sure I could go out there and get all my friends to vote for me (I am lucky to
have many friends) yet in a way this would defeat the true opportunity that we as a community have before us. I would also like to add a note about encouraging you to not only participate, but also to add
your feedback and comments – regardless if you enter. Constructive criticism is
so very important and when it is genuinely expressed without malicious intent: it is good for growth – it is very helpful
in our drive as “sales athletes” to achieve our personal best. Thus I encourage you to go for it: I’m even here to help you – you can call me Toll
Free in North America at 1.888.668.6248, and I will share with you any information I can to help you to achieve your personal
best: I am not so great at the production end of videos yet I consider myself talented at sales
Wishing you much success, let’s pump that economy. When we believe, we can. Cheers, Mark Mueller

I have been very busy promoting our non toxic vision since my last blog entry
at the beginning of this year and while I have not been blogging my adventure this weekend at the Green Living Show in Toronto
calls for another entry. While there were many business servants to serve you at this show I had the privelege of hearing
the speech of one person who to me defines servant leadership.
Clara Hughes, Canada's own Olympian is the only athlete in history to win both Summer and Winter Olympic medals.
Now retired from competitive Speed Skating and Cycling, she is an Ambassador for the most amazing Right To Play not-for-profit charitable organization. As business servants we should follow this leadership and
support this great institution which focuses upon bringing joy to the children.
From the Business Servant
perspective what I found most inspiring from her presentation was the dedication and freedom that she shared in the spirit
of winning: winning not so much in terms of medal performance yet more importantly in achieving one's personal best.
Her smile is a tremendous testimony that we should put the joy in this action as well.
While I could write volumes
on what I gained from her speech and meeting her afterwards I so love how she recounted the last race of her speed skating
career and what she wrote on her hand to reinforce her mantra of this time: Three phrases: Open Heart. Open Mind, and
Warrior. Now what should be added is that earlier in her presentation she mentioned that one of the hardest things
for her in leading up to this medal performance was that she asked herself to be kind: as in to wish for her competitors
to have a strong performance also. When I used to play tennis as a youth I did not have this focus and yet now when
I am playing I find it so amazing to actually wish my opponent to receive the joy of achieving an ace when serving.
After hearing this expression from Clara Hughes I especially relate to how this action enhanced my own performance.
I think inherently I have been doing this with my business activities for when I strive to influence my competitors to become
stronger our community becomes stronger which to me is what a big part of being a business servant is all about.
What really touched me deeply was to see the inspirational leadership effect Ms Hughes had on the youth. In front
of me in the line up to meet her was a young girl (about 10 years of age) and you could tell by the light in her
eyes that this was in fact a most precious moment: one that would instill the warrior spirit in her to achieve her personal
bests. It is for this reason I choose to define Ms. Clara Hughes as
being a true Business Servant: Business Servant in the sense the children of today are the future of our nation and with leadership
such as this we will have a positive tomorrow. I hope and pray that everyone will reach into this energy and carry the
flag for the betterment of all.

What Love means to a 4-8 year old... "You can't talk your way out of something you Behaved your way into."
|
|
For this blog entry we decided to let
the children speak. We believe these expression are the root of all that reflects the values
of servant leadership and thus of being a devoted business servant. What Love means to a 4-8 year old..
. |
Slow down for three minutes to read this. It is so worth it. Touching words from the mouth of babes. A group of
professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does love mean?'
The answers
they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined See what you think:
'When
my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it
for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love..'
Rebecca- age 8
'When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just
know that your name is safe in their mouth.'
Billy - age 4
'Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they
go out and smell each other.'
Karl - age 5
'Love
is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.'
Chrissy - age 6
'Love is what makes
you smile when you're tired.'
Terri - age 4
'Love
is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.'
Danny - age 7
'Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still
want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that.. They look gross when they kiss'
Emily - age 8
'Love is what's in
the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.'
Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)
'If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,'
Nikka - age 6 (we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)
'Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.'
Noelle - age 7
'Love is
like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.'
Tommy - age 6
'During my piano recital, I was on a
stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling.
He was
the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore.'
Cindy - age 8
'My mommy loves me more than anybody You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep
at night..'
Clare - age 6
'Love
is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.'
Elaine-age 5
'Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer
than Robert Redford.'
Chris - age 7
'Love
is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.'
Mary Ann - age 4
'I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has
to go out and buy new ones.'
Lauren - age 4
'When
you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.' (what an image)
Karen
- age 7
'Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the
toilet and she doesn't think it's gross.'
Mark - age 6
'You
really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.'
Jessica - age 8
And
the final one
The winner was a four year old child whose
next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little
boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he
had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
'Nothing, I just helped him cry'
When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that
God is all you need. Take 60 seconds and give this a shot! All you do is simply say the following small prayer for the person
who sent you this.
Heavenly Father, please bless all my friends in whatever it is that You know they may
be needing this day! And may their life be full of Your peace, prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship
with You. Amen.
Then copy and paste this text and send it on to five other people, including the
one who sent it to you. Within hours you caused a multitude of people to pray for other people. Then sit back and watch the
power of God work in your life.
P. S. Five is good, but more is better.
A special thanks to Lucy Barco <lucybarco@catholicregister.org> for starting this email and sharing this with us. |

September will bring many opportunities to the forefrontGreat Day Everyone: I am pleased to report that I had my first vacation
in many years and it felt good. I am pumped and raring to make September 2009 a high performance month. And this
month has indeed started out with a tremendous Business Servant energy: So very perfect as in that my prayers
have been to ask that I may be an instrument of (the Lord's) Love - yesterday I fielded a call from a Family who has
needs they can not meet. They were referred to me by another amazing Business Servant: Bloorview Kids Rehab,
Always one to pursue a challenge: I asked my brother Wolf, the proprietor of Curved Space if he could help out with their
need for a bean bag chair and footstool which he provided at a very minimal cost - a big thanks. When I delivered
these items I was able to review the need for a new mattress in the bed especially built to deal with the young teenager's
special needs. Now it just so happens that I was close to another Business Servant I know of: Eversoft Foam &
Fibre: I mentioned this need to them and right away received the support that they would donate a mattress - not just
any mattress but one that would be the best for this youth: layer of memory foam with a liquid-resistant covering Two Business Servants came to the rescue to make this happem. Having served the Child Care Industry I saw how
important it is for Business Servants to become a part of the Child Care equation - out there gathering resources - creatively
utilising resources to generate awareness and thus alertness to the needs. Let's let the Child Care Talent focus on
serving the future of our nation. One thing about investing in quality domain names is that you have them on the
ready when you need them: Thus we have in reserve - www.ChildCareTalent.com, which we believe makes for a fabulous site to serve our amazing caregivers. While the site is still ready for development
the neat thing about being a Business Servant is that I can now delve into strategid thinking of how to actually implement
this "brainwave" idea. I have asked of my new friends that they write down their wants and their needs.
The youth with special needs is prone to biting and chewing and a special chewing toy would serve well - it is sad in
a way that the prices for such specialty items are very limiting especially since the wife is suffering with back pain and
the father is at home attending to the family and underemployed. From meeting them I immediately got a sense that they
are focussed on shining love - which I find to be the fuel that inspires my Business Servant attitude. Always the need
to support such activities the energy of the day brought it's sales opportunities too. It is challenging to devote yourself
to love and trust that the means will be provided for. For myself this means to TOTALLY TRUST in His Word and Promise:
When you look after Him and what is important to Him, He will look after you more bounteously than one could have ever imagined.
I believe! I believe it takes a leap of Faith. Dive in - look forward not back and swim to the best of your ability.. It has been a while since my last entry. Lots has been happening with much on the forefront. In our plans we
have the new and innovative 2B1 series of web development sites, our non toxic (MSC & ehs) campaign has a few things in
the works, then we have our natural resoyrces themed websites: The oresales.com web development project currently envisioned
will provide you with an industry portal for all types of oresL it's all about sales and we as a Business Servant to
our nation, and those in alliance with us. Always the hope that I can serve Love to unite all as well. If we were
to treat others as we would want to be treated ourselves there would be much less war and as such we could concentrate our
resources for ensuring all are cared for that need assistance as well as the resources to train our youth and children into
believing work can be fun - when we add the Business Servant element to life. Adding value to the presentation. I
just have to mention that as a part of my vacation I went to the Canadian National Exhibition with a few people from one of
the SafeHaven homes. Wow, wow and triple wow, did we ever have fun. Nice to see Variety Village there promoting
active living. We went curling and together we got in in the second outer ring. While not one much for gambling
I did put down a dollar for each of us and believably we it came up hearts - our choice - the emblem for Safehaven coincidentally
- three hearts yielding the maximum payout. One roll at the Birthday Game with two $2 fees one for each of those who
the visit was planned for - a Winner. We laughed and shared merriment as we journied through the amusement park.
More Business Servants in action: the staff of www.theex.com and of course our schauffeurs for the day: Wheeltrans. A special note of thanks to the many police officers who
shared in smiles with us throughout the day: Our cops are tops. May many beautiful moments shower you throughout
your days, Cheers, Mark Mueller 416 769-7700

Celebrating the Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball Organization as a Business ServantI am so pumped after last nights "take me out to the ball game"
adventure at the Rogers Centre in Toronto last night that I choose to make
this the theme of "this weeks" blog. In my previous entry I made light of what a fabulous organisation
and Business Servant Safehaven Project for Community Living is. Well they continue to shine and provided
me with the opportunity to not only see a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game but also from this perspective
to see what a fabulous Business Servant the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club is. I knew that they are
a supporter of Safehaven yet to be provided four tickets (plus we saw many other non profit wheelchair accessible
vehicles present) on the main level right behind homeplate - wow. Here the two children who are restricted to wheelchair
mobility had an excellent vantage point, and we as caregivers had comfortable padded stackable chairs right in the choicest
section of this domed stadium. The Chicago Red Sox beat the Blue Jays 6 to 1 and yet we were in their competitively throughout
the game. At one point in the game we were bases loaded which could have catapulted us into the lead. Nevertheless
exceptional sportsmanship and skills were demonstrated by both teams. The Chicago second baseman made a superb driving
play and throw to first to out our runner. With this being the first time to a baseball game for one of the teenage youths
it was a thrill of a lifetime to be here with his other friend and CareGivers. I did the hooting and the hollering and
encouragement for them: being 6'3" tall I do have a booming voice. We all had a blast as the two kids would
tell me what they wanted to encourage to the team. For example we were priviledged to see our Ace Pitcher: Roy, the Doc Haliday in
Action. I would translate: (NAME) WANTS TO SEE THE BIG K DOC! The whole event was very festive and the invisible
service supporting us was phenomenal - including the paramedics team near us (a team stationed throughout the stadium - re,
flying foul balls. When your at the ball game you better make certain you are watching the pitch because when the crack
of the bat occurs some of them are real zingers and if you are only turning them it may be too late. Luckily no
injuries. Of course we have to mention the TTC as being another Business Servant in
Action, For the cost of a public transit fare for each of us: two adults and two children, we were picked up by WheelTrans,
delivered to our entrance and picked up after the game and returned. Transportation to and from the baseball game took
less time than by regular able-bodied public transit. Nice to see since this segment of the population must in most
cases spend more time readying themselves. is. The crecendo to this event is that it is yet further testimony how
what we shine out comes back to us many folds in ways which we could not imagine. And when we apply the power
of Business to this, as in being a Business Servant and networking opportunities for the
good of mankind, we can together really make things happen and have a super fun time in the process. On behalf of the four of us and everyone at Safehaven, thank you and a big hug to the Blue Jays (You delivered the strikeouts
and the "WORK THE PITCHER" when on base, etc. - baseball = fun entertainment), The Rogers Centre, WheelTrans
and the TTC. Wishing that all your moments of truth are happy ones, Cheers, Mark 416 769-7700

Having a fun time serving business - pump that economy! Here it is a week since my last entry and what a week it has been and continues
to be. A spreadsheet has been built - with just a few revisions to be tweaked - which will allow us
to breakdown web development costs into their respective activities. Pursuing the number one search
engine rankings with Google, Yahoo and MSN is a great challenge. Exciting is this spreadsheet
as from a business servant point of view it gives the keys to the driver: variable costs
can be changed, initial investments can be scaled up or scaled down. As spreadsheets
go they are a great tool for forecasting resources and conducting "what if" scenarios. It's so neat to how when our focus is on serving as so many wonderful opportunities
are presented: Thus not much time for bloging. You will note one of the companies presented whom
we believe exudes the Business Servant characteristics is www.AdrianTheMover.com. Three times within this past year I commissioned Adrian's
Relocation Services: once for myself and our family and twice for valued Customers. In situations
such as these I definitely like to be on the front line assisting: As a leader I demand of myself to lead
by example - how can I ask another person to e.g. perform carrying boxes with passion if I
do not enthuse this myself. Being alongside I can help effect the positive attitude that makes the
tasks not only easier but completed most effectively. Sure I could commission
this task to be done independant of myself being there yet being "in the trenches" will ensure Victory.
As a bonus I am closer to the Customer and when service excellence prevails I am in the best position
to recognize this learning. I must say that working with Adrian and his Team of Moving Professionals
and Relocation Specialists was a joy and a success. Just the Business
Servant I like and want to have on my Logistics Team. Adrian can be contacted at 416 944-2018.
This week I was also fortunate to further projects I have on the go with my prized client: a Business
Servant example themselves, in a style which exudes success. They have a beautiful country
home north of Toronto. Imagine driving through a gated entrance, through a tall, thick and deep stand of trees - looking
into the depths one sees the tall tree trunk orchard disappearing into the distance of the forest. Then majestically
one finds oneself at the top of a steep hill with a grand private lake to the left. Drive down into the valley along
the edge of the lake over and up the hill to to dwellings located on top of the other side of the lake. Lunch and dinner
deliciously prepared in this idyllic setting is sumptuous and good nourishment for crafting success.
I am happy to report that we have some new and exciting things happening on the www.wifiexposure.com positive propaganda front which will, positively speaking, be launched end of September beginning of October
2009. I am happy to report that my craftsperson on call has worked booked for two months - not so great
for us and yet great for him - and he is definitely an exceptional Business Servant. On the ever bright
side he is always there for us to help with building project challenges and can issue instructions for me
to follow. And of course we have Natalie and Oksana at www.Health2b1.com. Also fitting Business Servants. Lucky me that I have a massage treatment
scheduled for tomorrow - how nice it was to receive their call inviting me to enjoy this relaxation and healing
session. That's the beauty of my Faith being my guiding light in being a Business Servant 4 U
(for you). Here I am working diligently to serve and it is as if God says "and now Mark"
I will bring you what you need and what is best for you." I know with Natalie the healing goes beyond massage treatments:owing
to the fact that as a Naturopath and Holistic rememdies practioner she focuses on the whoke
aspect of healthy living. I have mentioned previously that her meals are delicious. In return for this
treatment I will coach her with her English skills and as well we'll be working on developing a new website
to promote their Spa and Health Retreat in the Ukraine. With leadership of Oksana
and Natalie I know this spa is of world class quality. Perhaps one day soon I will
get to visit it myself. Always so witty I strive to be. In closing of the Business Servant front
this week there is one organization - although a not-for-profit one - which has been a major thrust and inspiration
to my passion to be a Business Servant: www.SafeHavenproj.org. This is the Respite Organization I mentioned in my last entry. So wonderful to be a volunteering
part of a great organization serving people with special needs and their families.
Wishing you all a wonderful day with bounteous opportunities to serve.
Cheers, Mark

I am pleased to announce the launch of our promotional
section above. Building websites while also attending to "the chores" of
bringing this Business Servant concept to action means that I can only do so much of the
web-oriented tasks, especially when the latter activity provides me with my means of subsitence. Never the less,
as time permits, the presentation of our trusted network of friends and merchants will be expanded. On a business
servant note, I am honoured that the respite centre where I volunteer (more like
hanging out with them at their country club) has commissioned me to paint a couple of rooms in their head office. And
with smiling thoughts I now get to serve in this task (Thanks to all who have taught me to paint over the years.) Wishing
everyone a super Saturday, Cheers. Mark 416 769-7700 Toronto, Canada

It was a friendlyville kind of a day here in Toronto
today: I earned some honourable dollars moving furniture around a house and garage. A team of
two: the Customer and myself. It was a lot of fun talking and sharing in
comarderie. Even though these were "personal servant tasks" attending to residential needs our
conversation included the business theme.
Taking on the Business Servant attitude
makes everything so much more relaxing - since the focus is on serving and not so much on personal gain even though I was
rewarded well and thus realised much personal gain. The Business Servant was alive and well in me as our conversations
included discovering potential future opportunities to serve in both personal and business servant roles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When we give the Business to God (and
for me Christ) it is so amazing the opportunities that flow to you. No doubt when
we talk about Business, we reap what we sow so therein it is good to reap - to add value.
For the past week I have been developing a new Internet Marketing concept which will (God-willing) be launched
in August 2009: here's the advance scoop which will give you a hint as to the field of expanding our services
to you: www.SEO2b1.com. The concept is very Human Energy oriented which
will challenge our productivity and performance on the international stage. It is fun to pursue being the best
that you can be. The passion I thirst for as a Business Servant is to build a company
that embodies leadership by example and provides the vehicle which can be replicated
so that others can boost their productivity and fulfillment levels of themselves,
their co-workers, colleagues, family and friends.
Here's a thought for you.... The other day a friend came to visit me and while taking a walk down
by the lake (Ontario) we got to talking very in depth: deciding on the best opportunity to pursue regarding
a situation. As is sometimes the case I will walk in reflection to the challenge looking down. Then while I said "I've
got a brilliant idea", I raised my head only to look out across the lake to see the rainbow's end hovering
magnificently above the waterline directly in front of me. (Lake Ontario is about 28 miles wide so while it looked like
the end was only a few miles out it might well have been more. (There's a smile in the pocket: I can take this
vision having seen it and reproduce it with the power of my mind by cognizantly storing it when I see it: Your Memory
Camera for when you don't have a camera, etc. As beautiful as this image was, I mention this as, at the time when I connected
the rainbow to the great idea I had when I saw it, I wonder if this might perhaps indeed be a blessing encouraging me to pursue
and that this is God's Hand guiding me and us. Wishing you smiles and happy thoughts, Cheers, Mark Mueller 416 769-7700

Eight days between my first introductory blog entry and I must say that the business servant
and corporate vision of friendlyville dot com is off to a flying start. June 30th brought the successful
closing date of an almost half a million dollar (CDN) real estate sale which I was actively involved in during
the past half year. As such I thought that I would be able to enjoy some Ontario tourism. Not the case I am happy to report. Friendlyville dot Com is all about networking when
opportunities present themselves. I believe this best achieved by being friendly and
serving others as you would yourself want to be served: e.g. presenting actions that demonstrate
to place the interest of others ahead of oneself. I present my July 2nd adventure as an example
of how it works. Attending to my tasks I decide I will call my friend who told me she was in extreme pain.
When I arrived to attend and be with her I thought what to do? I telephoned my www.Health2b1.com friends: I have been earning my stripes as their Marketing Consultant (and Business Servant) for
their Health and Holistic and Naturopathic remedies practitioners' business. I asked that although I
knew we were scheduled to assist with moving boxes later that day could they attend my friend across town: I would drive and
pick them up and drive them back home. Without question the reply was "Yes". When I arrived to pick them up
one had not arrived from their clinic yet. As she left a note for the other I suggested we use the visualization
technique and see the other as we would drive counter the public transit route to the subway. As we turned
to go north there was our friend. A one hour session of massage and treatments and my friend was much
better. I had and have every confidence in them. Now this is all nice and fine and dandy yet this "business”
must be supported with revenues. Well it turns out that my friends have networked and scheduled and has received more
treatments and the practitioners are in need of my friend's (the patient in this case) real estate services and booked future
treatments with her new Pain Management Specialist. From a pure business perspective
one new Customer was gained with another potential realestate transaction seed being planted.
Nuture this seed with service - be there to provide whatever resources (within your capabilities)
are necessary to help it to fruition. Use your intuition to invest your limited
resources wisely. The payoff comes in that when serving as such, the relationships were strengthened
so that when needed one can employ this friendlyville dot Com concept to call and ask something
of another for another (or if absolutely necessary, for oneself). A lot of times you can solve the problem with a phone
call to someone knowledgeable, yet in this above reported event - perhaps as if demonstrating to me that this business
concept does work - it may involve surrendering a day or half a day. The super-cool
thing to was that their was initially never any mention of required payment for this expenditure of resources
and yet as in the end a monetary purchase of services - a business transaction - did occur. I encourage everyone everywhere to seize the opportunity to serve. It’s a two step process. FIRST: Recognize
the opportunity to serve and
SECOND: DIVE IN challenging yourself to demonstrate your exceptional performance
to benefit of another. Focus on a team attitude - and encourage this in everyone else assigned to complete the task
- even if it is only "me, myself, and I".
Always remember and trust in the wisdom of the adage: What
we shine out comes back many times. Cheers Mark
